Yogahood is the world’s only community of yoga lovers online where anyone and everyone – a student, a teacher, a brand, a studio owner, a resort, a corporate executive – can find what they’re looking for in the wellness space.
Yogahood is a discovery platform. It is not an e-commerce site that will lure you with retail suggestions or cheap class passes and packages.
Yogahood believes in connecting seekers with providers. We want to be your guide as you explore the yoga space and find what’s out there, what’s new and what’s trending. We believe that anyone who ventures into the yoga space begins a journey that leads to living well, eating right and connecting to like-minded people who have a common goal – the wellbeing of all. It is a hood where minds understand the connection between body, breath and being.
Yogahood is owned by the publishers of Yoga Journal Singapore, and it is an idea that blossomed because of queries from readers of the magazine who were looking for yoga classes, products and events, but unable to find answers online. As publishers who are yogis and yoginis constantly seeking spiritual escapes, we sincerely wanted the community to understand that the word Yoga means “union” or “the coming together of”, and therefore we created Yogahood Online, a neighborhood for yoga lovers. This is our way to provide answer to queries from readers about studios, teachers, courses, retreats and products, and to be of service to a community that believes in doing good. Yogahood is a space to help the wellness community spread their message via their service and products so people can find everything under the sun and over the mat – in one place!
Yogahood welcomes all. You don’t have to be a yogi or yogini to browse around. But you may just become one after you enter this space.
